Interior fit-out
Sapide - Atelier Design modernises the Hôtel Le Charmant with bespoke oak-and-brass furniture, combining contemporary elegance with respect for the 19th century.
Mission
To reconcile the hotel's historic elegance with modern comfort, while respecting the architecture and identity of the place.
Solution
In Saint-Ouen, the Hôtel Le Charmant brings together two worlds: classic charm meets a gentle, controlled modernity through its furniture, imagined by Sapide/Atelier Design. The ambition was to bring functionality and modernity without breaking the historic balance of the building. The furniture had to extend the timeless atmosphere, dialogue with the original building and step back to let the place express itself.
Sapide - Atelier Design supported the hotel across all its interior furniture, imagined, drawn and then manufactured in our workshop. Headboards, built-in desks, wardrobes, technical elements... Each piece was designed as a natural extension of the architecture, with the constant concern of combining ergonomics, elegance and durability.

The bespoke fit-out elevates the identity and history of the residence through curved lines and noble materials (solid oak, refined veneer, brass), crafted with the precision of our wood workshop. The large bar, designed as a warm welcoming space, embodies this approach: a fluid style, authentic materials and a discreet modernity, perfectly integrated into the character of the building.
This project also carries a strong local dimension. Located twenty minutes from our workshop, the Hôtel Le Charmant sits at the heart of the Plaine Commune area. Contributing to the renovation of an emblematic establishment in our neighbourhood is a project that values our roots, our artisanal know-how and our commitment to the places that shape our everyday environment.
