Our
At Sapide, the real world is not a final stage. It is part of the way we think about projects from the very start.
Our 600 sqm joinery workshop, based near Paris in Seine-Saint-Denis, is a natural extension of the agency's work. This is where ideas take shape, where intentions become materials, volumes, assemblies and finishes. A place of fabrication, experimentation and inspection, where every project is confronted with what makes the quality of an object or a fit-out: its accuracy, its solidity, its use and its detail.

The workshop brings together both traditional and digital machinery, specialist cabinetmakers and decorators, as well as an integrated paint and finishing booth. This set-up lets us produce with precision, responsiveness and rigour, from prototype to one-off piece and up to small production runs. Everything is assembled and inspected on our premises. This in-house control guarantees close attention to finishes, adjustments, deadlines and the overall quality of projects. Around the workshop, Sapide also relies on a network of specialist subcontractors: printing, metal, screen printing, textile, signage, technical elements or specific finishes. A flexible, reliable ecosystem, able to handle very different projects without losing sight of the original intention.
From design to delivery, we support your projects.
Prototype & One-off pieces
Before any production, we often make a prototype, a one-off piece or a test object to validate the technical and aesthetic choices. This step confronts the drawing with reality, adjusting volumes, uses, details and finishes. Tints, varnishes, lacquers and material effects are assessed with precision to guarantee the final result. Every piece is made to the same exacting standard as a final project.
Building bespoke
Every project is designed around its environment: dimensions, technical constraints, circulation, level of finish and brand identity. Our approach is to create solutions perfectly integrated into their space, able to reveal it, structure it or transform it. This adaptability lets us design unique projects, consistent with the client's expectations as much as with the reality of the field.
Assemble,
inspect &
organise
the runs
Before they leave, all elements are assembled and inspected on our premises to check their conformity, their finishes and their quality of execution. This step also anticipates transport and installation constraints. When a project moves towards small series, we set up suitable fabrication and control methods to guarantee consistency of assemblies, finishes and deadlines. The Sapide workshop thus produces limited runs to the same exacting standard as bespoke work, ensuring consistency, precision and quality on every unit.
Install
on site
At Sapide, the team that installs is often the one that built. This continuity guarantees a precise, careful execution, faithful to the project's intentions. We handle on-site installation while accounting for access, scheduling and operating constraints, coordinating logistics, transport and follow-up of operations. Our goal: to deliver a compliant project, perfectly installed and ready to be used in the best conditions.
The design agency is paired with a fabrication workshop. Thanks to it, Sapide Atelier Design brings to life the projects it has imagined for you, or builds the ideas of your clients and collaborators.
Both designers and craftsmen, Louis-Nicolas and Romain take on the challenge of turning a vision into an object. Their dual skill set lets them find the bespoke solution to meet strategic, aesthetic and material constraints.
With their team, they model, build and assemble one-off pieces, small runs and prototypes in their studio. Over the years and the projects, the agency has built a local network of trusted partners who support the production of larger runs.
